Sunday evening thoughts

So, wow, 2 posts in one day. Jeepers. I must not have anything else to do. Teehee.

Actually, just wanted to say how crappy my day tried to be, and it almost got me, but thanks to very dear friends, it ended up being a wonderful day. Had a 'sad attack' hit me from out of NO where - and it got me down, but not for long. My best friend truly is my sister - she knows me like no other, and can bring me up when she knows I need it. I am so very lucky to have her, and her hubby in my life. They cooked a scrumptious tex mex quesadilla meal that was awesome, despite my sinuses screaming enough with the spice. But, alas, once I removed said chipotle pepper, all was much better in the world.

Off to read new astrology books I got at B&N today...moohoohahaha.

Thoughts on a sunny Sunday

So, after 4 days of rain (which our drought stricken state really needed) FINALLY, the sunshine peeks through. Amazing how it changes your mood. I'd become a bit dark and gray like the weather outside, and that is just not me to be that way, so am glad to have my sunny (no pun intended) outlook restored.

Just got through reading my friends blog about her amazing journey with ovarian cancer...and I can't begin to express how strong her will is, and how upbeat and positive she is, all while faced with this hell she is going through. A true inspiration is what she is.

I'm still new to this whole bloggy state of mind..so bear with me. I can't imagine why anyone would want to read my random thoughts, but hey, stranger things have happened.

I'm currently on my 2nd cup of coffee, and the sinus headache I woke up with has subsided. I say this, and think, I have such relatively MINOR issues compared to CJ (which, by the way, I like your first name darling, and yes, some of our peers were so rude and hateful while in school, and funny how those things aren't easily forgotten..).

Off to figure out what my day has in store for me...more randomocity later-
